Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy lists the cookies and browser storage redround.com uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts, what will change when accounts launch, and how you can choose whether we use analytics and advertising cookies.
1. About this policy
This policy applies to redround.com in all of its language versions. RedRound is operated by Yousea Technology Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong ("RedRound", "we", "us"). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and local storage
- A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to that website with later requests.
- Local storage is an area in your browser where a website's own scripts can save small items. Unlike a cookie, an item in local storage is not sent to the website's server with your requests.
- Strictly necessary items are needed to provide something you ask for, such as keeping you signed in, and do not require consent. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only with your consent where the law requires it.
3. What we store today
We set one strictly necessary cookie, which remembers your cookie choices. Google Analytics sets its cookies only when analytics is on for you (section 5). We do not use advertising tools today.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
rr_consent |
Remembers your choices for analytics and advertising cookies, the version of this policy you made them under, and a random consent ID that links your choice to our record of it. | First-party cookie; strictly necessary | 12 months |
_ga |
Google Analytics: tells visits from the same browser apart with a random identifier, so that we can count visitors. | First-party cookie set by Google Analytics; analytics; only when analytics is on | 2 years |
_ga_H0YRJWE1ZW |
Google Analytics: keeps the state of your current visit, such as when it started and how many pages you have viewed. | First-party cookie set by Google Analytics; analytics; only when analytics is on | 2 years |
rr-theme |
Remembers whether you chose the Light or Dark theme, so the page shows it on your next visit. If you choose System, this item is removed and the page follows your device setting. | Local storage; a preference you set; never sent to our servers | Until you choose System or clear your browser's site data |
Language. The language version is chosen by the web address, for example /fr or /ja. We do not use a cookie or browser storage to remember your language.
4. When accounts launch
The following will apply once accounts launch. We will update this policy and the table above before then.
- Sign-in session cookie. When you sign in, we will set a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in and links your requests to your account. It is not used for analytics or advertising and does not require consent. It is removed when you sign out or when it expires. We will list its name and duration in the table above before accounts launch.
- Payment pages run by Stripe. When you pay, start a subscription or manage it in the Stripe Customer Portal, you use pages run by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on those pages, for example to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's own cookie policy. We do not control or receive these cookies.
- Google sign-in pages. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's sign-in pages set Google's own cookies under Google's policies.
5. Analytics and advertising
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: consent first. We show RedRound's own consent banner. Analytics and advertising tools stay off, and are not loaded, until you switch them on. "Reject all" is offered alongside "Accept all", and you can choose individual categories under "Manage". Closing the banner counts as "Reject all".
- Elsewhere: on by default, with a choice. Analytics and advertising are on by default, without a banner. You can switch them off at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Signed-in pages. Pages for signed-in customers, such as your account, never load analytics or advertising tools.
- Three categories:
- Necessary: needed for the website and your account to work; always on.
- Analytics: help us understand how the website is used.
- Advertising: measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases.
- Analytics tool. We use Google Analytics 4. When analytics is on, your browser loads Google's tag from www.googletagmanager.com and sends Google Analytics the pages you visit, the page that referred you, your browser, device and operating system, and the identifiers in the cookies above; Google derives an approximate location from your IP address and does not store the address. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to pass your choices to Google's tags. Google processes this data on our behalf. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Advertising tools. We do not use advertising tools today. We plan to add conversion measurement for Google Ads and Meta Ads. Before we do, we will update this policy with each cookie's name, provider, purpose and duration, and the following will also apply.
- Click identifiers. When you arrive from an ad, the link can carry an identifier, such as Google's
gclidor Meta'sfbclid. While advertising measurement is on for you, we keep it for up to 13 months to measure that ad. - Purchases. While advertising measurement is on for you, we may also report a purchase to Google or Meta from our servers (server-side conversion reporting), so that the ad that led to it can be measured.
- Record of your choice. When you make a choice in the banner or under Cookie settings, we record the consent ID from the
rr_consentcookie, your choices, the policy version, the date and time, your country as determined from your IP address, and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not store your IP address with it. We keep the record for 24 months. - Changing your choice. You can change your choice, or withdraw your consent, at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page. When you switch analytics off, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. This does not affect use that took place before the change.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies in that browser.
6. How to control and clear browser storage
- Cookie choices. Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
- Theme. Choose System in the footer of any page. This removes
rr-theme. - Clear site data. In your browser's settings, open the privacy section and clear cookies and site data for redround.com. This removes local storage as well as cookies. Your browser's help pages explain the exact steps.
- Private windows. In a private or incognito window, local storage is deleted when you close the window.
- Block cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Once accounts launch, blocking all cookies for redround.com will prevent you from signing in.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever what we store changes, including before accounts launch and before any advertising tool goes live, and we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. This policy may be translated for convenience; if a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
